She typically wears a purple trousers, blouse, or other piece of clothing, and is often adorned with gold and silver jewelry, especially a necklace made of dome-shaped bells called Kalire, which is thought to protect against bad. The bride and groom subsequently exchange vows at a northern bride on a raised program known as the Mandap, which are similar to the Mandap.
